In this Western world we’re feeling a growing amount of disconnection despite massive technological advancements to the contrary. Somehow, we’re losing our sense of ourselves, who we are and how we relate to the world around us. As a growing number of us threaten to take more vacation or unplug from all digital devices for days at a time, we always seem to revert back to this state of constant motion and disconnection. This crisis of connection is rearing it’s head in all areas of our lives. We’re stressed, sick, overwhelmed, lonely, rushing and hoping it will all somehow pay off tomorrow. We just want to be happy but what we really mean is we want to feel a sense of connection that makes us feel deeply alive and doesn’t come and go with the changing of the weather.
